Astola Island is a small, uninhabited island 39km southeast of the fishing port of Pasni, a fishing port in Gwadar District, Balochistan. Pakistan’s largest offshore island, known as the ‘Island of the Seven Hills’ for its seven prominent hills with deep chasms running through, is a remote paradise. It has one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world and is home to rare, endangered species such as the green turtle (Chelonia mydas) and the hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricate). It takes around 5 hours to reach Astola by boat from Pasni. The island is perfect for beach getaways, swimming, diving, snorkeling, and many other water sports.
